FSC Australia: Annual General Meeting
Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be held on Wednesday 28 July 2021
The Annual General Meeting (AGM), for Responsible Forest Management Australia Ltd (Trading as FSC Australia) has now been scheduled for Wednesday 28 July 2021.
At this stage (subject to any Covid restrictions) the Board would like to hold a physical meeting of members, and arrangements are currently being finalised with the addition of a virtual discussion.
9.30am to 11.30am Tour of the Burwood Brickworks
In addition to the AGM, we have arranged a morning tour of the Burwood Brickworks. Stephen Choi, the Living Building Challenge Manager at Fraser’s Property Australia, will lead the group on a guided walk through the Burwood Brickworks to highlight the importance of timber to this award winning building whilst discussing issues that arose during its development in relation to FSC certified timber. https://thefifthestate.com.au/innovation/case-stud […]
12:00 to 1:00pm Lunch at the Melbourne Zoo
Bunji Catering, a proud Aboriginal company, will provide locally sourced lunch grazing boxes, to anyone who would like to take the opportunity to enjoy lunch whilst walking through the zoo. The boxes will be available at the entrance to Melbourne Zoo.

The Welcome to Country ceremony will be conducted by an Elder from the Wurundjeri People who are the Traditional Owners of Greater Melbourne.

6. Presentation Opportunities presented by the new Ecosystem Services procedure
As the world prepares for the UN Biodiversity Conference in Kunming, China, companies around Australia and New Zealand are finding ways to respond to climate change and take action to reverse biodiversity loss and its impact on ecosystem, species and people. The presentations will discuss the potential role that FSC’s Ecosystem Services procedure can have on business commitments to create more sustainable businesses practices and innovating for the future, including transitioning to a low-carbon economy.

Everyone present at the AGM is invited to meet the new Board of FSC Australia and share a glass of wine.
We are looking forward to seeing members and we hope the recent covid issues in Victoria/NSW are well and truly resolved before the meeting date.
