11th Annual General Meeting of Responsible Forest Management Australia Limited (FSC Australia).

Nominations of candidates for election as Directors & Calls for Resolutions now Open


We would like to announce the details for this years Annual General Meeting.

Date: Thursday 25th May 2017
Location: City of Melbourne Bowls Club Flagstaff Gardens, Dudley St, West Melbourne VIC 3003

Members and Stakeholders are encouraged to attend and participate in the governance of the organisation.

Interested in becoming part of the FSC Australia governance structure, and having a say in the future development and growth of the FSC system in Australia? Become a Member to have voting rights and the opportunity to nominate for and be elected as a Director - find more details about membership here.

As a member you are able to submit resolutions for consideration at the AGM. Resolutions are due by Friday 21st April 2017 and should be sent to the Secretary.

Nominations of candidates for election as Directors

FSC Australia invites all individual members and nominated representatives of organisational members to apply to sit on the board of Responsible Forest Management Australia Ltd. This application form will assist you to submit your application, ensure you meet all necessary eligibility requirements and provide all necessary information to process your application if successful with ASIC. All personal information will be treated confidentially and only be used for the purposes of enacting your Board position if you are successful.

Current vacancies for nomination include;

  • One Director elected from the Social Chamber for a term of office of three years (expiring at the AGM in 2020).
  • One Director elected from the Environmental Chamber for a term of office of three years (expiring at the AGM in 2020).
  • One Director elected from the Economic Chamber for a term of office of three years (expiring at the AGM in 2020).

Please note, applications must be made in writing and signed by two Members and accompanied by the written consent of the candidate; and delivered to the Secretary before the 30th of April 2017.

Formal Notification for Nominations of candidates to fill a Casual Vacancy as a Director

FSC Australia invites all individual members and nominated representatives of organisational members to apply to sit on the board of Responsible Forest Management Australia. This application form will assist you to submit your application, ensure you meet all necessary eligibility requirements and provide all necessary information to process your application if successful with ASIC. All personal information will be treated confidentially and only be used for the purposes of enacting your Board position if you are successful.

A vacancy has arisen in the Environment Chamber as Jonathan La Nauze has advised the Board that he will be retiring as a Director at the AGM, and confirmed this by writing to the Company Secretary.

If elected, the Director will hold a term of office of two years (expiring at the AGM in 2019).

Please note, applications must be made in writing and signed by two Members and accompanied by the written consent of the candidate; and delivered to the Secretary before the 30th of April 2017.
